hisoka SG or you could just change money at the "local" money changers at the airport and hope you don't get ripped off too badly
Rhonda SG I keep telling myself, RELAX!!! If I have forgotten to buy a souvenir / gift for someone, then too bad, just give them a treat or something! And if I have forgotten to bring anything else, I can always buy it in Singapore! But still, I get the jitters! I think I'm just ... borderline mental. Maybe, some... valium... ... ... some valium might help!
viciouskitty74 SG The seats at the wings are the most stable part of the plane and the flights. You wont feel turbulance, but its troublesome to go to the lavatories or even to dis-embark, especially when you have stowed your carry ons in the overhead compartments. Errr.....stewardess dont provide tissue papers that you need to sneeze into. They are very stingy to distributes those in fact. But window seats are my favourites, cos got the window area to lay that extra self brought blanket on it and you can rest your head on it by the blanket cushioning your head from the vibrations of the plane.
av98m SG If it makes you feel any better, I'm actually scared to death of flying. The thought of being 10,000 feet in the air in an aluminium tin can worries me. Not that it ever stops me from flying
hisoka SG hmmz gun primed and pointed at door that fires if you don't disable? or you just have to liedown while opening the door?
Rhonda SG Ah well, I don't really have precious things in my flat but my colleague's apt was broken into and she had her TV, computer, and all other electrical appliance stolen! Another colleague went back to her home country for a holiday to return to find her jewellery all stolen! Ah well... deep breaths... what's the worst that could happen? And I've got friends here now, I'm sure they'll help me out somehow if my flat really gets cleaned out when I'm gone!
Rhonda SG I don't really need tissue papers although I was thinking of carrying around a pack of wet wipes. I love window seats too! This flight will be a first for me though, because for the first time, I'm going to sit on the right side of the plane instead of my usual left side! I still hope to catch great views of Singapore just before landing!
Rhonda SG Makes me feel a little bit better liao... NOT! I didn't even think of the dangers of flying until now!
Rhonda SG YOU DID?!!! Ah well, I like to throw open my luggage and start throwing things in as and when I remember. I started doing that about three weeks ago although it was only on Monday night that things really started to take shape. I might forget a gift for someone, but *knocks on wood... not my passport cause it's already in my backpack. I worry about exceeding the weight limit.
